The specialist palliative care nursing team working in the inpatient unit consists of a considered mixture of registered nurses, enrolled nurses, endorsed enrolled nurses and ward support officers.

The home based palliative care team and the hospital consultancy nurses are all staffed by specialist palliative care registered nurses.

Nurses provide holistic care that is patient and family focused.
